Storage and Stability

When stored at 2-8°C and protected from light, reagent is stable up to the expiration date printed on the label.

Warnings / Precautions:

1) Sodium Azide may react with copper or lead plumbing to form potentially explosive metal azides. When disposing of Sodium Azide, flush plumbing with large volumes of water to prevent build up.

2) Avoid contact with Evans blue, as it is a potential carcinogen. If skin contact occurs, flush with large volumes of water.
